The materials used in these kits are plastic, wood or metal. A shed made from plastic is the least expensive and the simplest to assemble. Molded wall panels, roof, doors and flooring generally snap and screw together easily. For best quality, choose a kit made from High Density Polyethylene.  Plastic sheds are very durable and virtually maintenance free. The wood shed kits require a little more time and effort to assemble. Metal shed kits are usually made of steel and are very strong and long lasting. The metal side and roof panels come predrilled for ease of assembly.  For superior durability choose vinyl coated galvanized steel.
